Physical Therapy

Pelvic floor physical therapists help patients with pelvic floor dysfunction by improving the strength and function of the pelvic floor muscles. These muscles support the bladder, urethra, and other pelvic organs. Pelvic floor physical therapists can assess diagnose, and treat your injury through a combination of interventions like manual therapy, modalities, exercise prescription, and more.

Rehanna is an Aggie and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Allied Health from TAMU, her Associate of Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant from McLennan Community College, and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine School for Health Sciences. While in school, she graduated with honors from her Physical Therapist Assistant program and graduated with high honors from her Physical Therapy program.

Rehanna became interested in pelvic health while she was pregnant and delivered twice during Physical Therapy school. She was surprised to learn how underrepresented pelvic floor physical therapy was in the community and physical therapy world; as she looked more into this specialty, she realized that many people who needed help had no idea that pelvic floor physical therapy existed. She completed an internship with a pelvic floor specialty clinic in Austin, Texas where she gained knowledge on treating various pelvic floor conditions and also had the unique experience of being a postpartum patient at the same time. Soon after graduation she was hired at a pelvic floor specialty clinic where she saw over 50 pelvic floor patients a week.

Areas of interest for Rehanna include pregnancy and postpartum recovery, sexual health, incontinence, chronic pelvic pain, pelvic floor dysfunction in equestrians, and pediatric pelvic floor conditions. She is a trauma informed therapist who loves educating on misconceptions in regard to the pelvic floor and seeing patients regain control of their lives when they did not think it possible. In August 2024, she decided to take the leap to open her own practice to allow her to have a good work-life balance and not have limitations with patient care that can be seen with insurance based practices and “PT mills”. She looks forward to spending quality one on one time with patients where they feel truly heard and will receive optimal care.

Rehanna is very excited to call College Station home once again. Rehanna spends a lot of time with her husband, Adam, and children Everett (2020), Isla (2021), and Soleil (2024). They love going out to boat and wake surf and going to the dog park with their two dogs. Rehanna also was an avid horseback rider and in her free time spends time with her horses Cricket and Star who are now right out her home’s back door! She looks forward to bringing quality pelvic floor care to the College Station area.
